Living in Nigeria and working in the UK we are happy they chose Cape Town as their honeymoon destination.
“Good scenery, good food and to learn about wine” says Ewaen as we are driving out to the wine region on a private tour.
Immediately Seidelberg comes to mind– an entertaining and learning experience combined.
Deirdre, shows them the wine making process and they are intrigued by the reserve wines in the open fermentation tanks. For the tasting Deidre selects six different wine styles so they can compare the aromas and flavours of dry, sweet, unwooded and wooded etc.
Compelled by the experience, Ewaen says, “I really will take more care when choosing wine from now on and not just select the best label”.
While Ewaen’s favourite is the Rolands Reserve Syrah, Omasede has a sweeter taste so they purchased a Golden Harvest and the Muscadel to enjoy in the Seychelles during their onward honeymoon.

Have recently come back from a wine trip, whereby I visited a number of the top wineries in Southern France, I was overwhelmed at the standard and quality fo wines from Seidelberg. Overall, one of the best wineries I have been too!
The scenery and atmosphere was breathtaking, and the wines and food world-class!
Congrats on a brilliant winery, fabulous wines, and a superb product.
