It was happy Independence Day and honeymoon celebrations that brought Robert & Ellen to Seidelberg wine estate.

“The butternut and gorgonzola lasagne was out of this world” exclaims Robert. They thought their lunch at De Leuwen Jagt restaurant was delicious.

It was a beautiful winter day, so they sat outside for their wine tasting. Carmen presented two white wines and then comparative varietals of the Seidelberg and Roland’s Reserve ranges. It was hard for them to select a favourite between the Shiraz (Syrah), Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon.

I wish them well on their onward safari to Shamwari.
