Value For Money
Now more than ever, one has to be money conscious; we have to be aware that we are getting what we pay for, and if we can, get more than what we pay for.
Seidelberg for me, among other things, means value for money. You always receive that little extra, which always makes me smile. There is just so much to choose from, that sometimes, one is spoilt for choice! They are one of the few farms which understand the need for a good Rose; they have 4 styles of this lovely summertime wine. The Shiraz Blanc De Noir, which is fantastic, is made using 100% Shiraz grapes which gives it a peppery taste. The Seidelberg Rose is unusually made up of 85 % Red Muscadel, 15 % Malbec, giving that yummy but, different flair. The Sparkling Rose is perfect for those summer evenings and even better for those girly long lunches. It’s an off dry bubbly, which means that can satisfy the semi sweet wine drinkers and the dry wine drinkers. And last but not least, the De Leuwen Jagt Rose is a softer styled Rose with flavours of raisins and honey, very easy to drink!
Seidelberg often get good value awards from the wine magazine. One of these awards went to the De Leuwen Jagt Shiraz. This is always a crowd pleaser, you can really taste that ‘spicy-ness’ that should be typical of a Shiraz. Their off dry blend, ‘Nuance’ has just grown from strength to strength. Winning 2 stars in the wine magazine in 1999 to 4 stars in 2008. This wine is perfect pair with any spicy dishes.
One thing you can be sure about when you open a bottle of Seidelberg wine, is the care that has gone into each and every bottle. The wine maker is so meticulous during harvest and the wine making process; everything has its place and everything is squeaky clean. The wine is cared for through every process right from the vine to your table, and because of this, you can be assured about the quality of the wine you will drink.

Hi there,
I just bought a bottle of Seidelberg Rosé in Cologne, Germany to enjoy one sunny day in autumn. The wine was just perfect for enjoying with my friends on my balcony. I totally agree that the Seidelberg wines are perfect value for money. The wine has a wonderful (dark)pink colour and I smelled flavours of red berries and citrus. Of course it matched perfect with our chicken and salad. I am lookin forward to visitng this great winery one day.
Cheers Dominik !

Hey,
It is always good to hear that your winery focuses on making good rose wines. That is something that most wineries neglect, and therefore it is often hard to find a good rose. I will definietly keep my eyes open for the next fresh, fruity bottle of Seidelberg Rose!
It may be a little cold here in the northern hemisphere now, but hey….Rose wine knows no season! …..The plum, chicken, bacon combo sounds good!……
can’t wait to try it out!
